Billing and refunds
Refund Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Studey subscriptions are purchased through the app store shown in the app, such as Apple App Store or Google Play. The store collects payment and manages the order. Studey does not take subscription payments directly through studey.app or independently approve or issue refunds for store transactions.
Requesting a refund
Submit your request through the same store where you made the purchase. The store reviews the request under its refund rules, your location, and applicable law. A request does not guarantee that the store will approve a refund.
- Apple App Store: Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com, choose “Request a refund,” select the Studey purchase, and submit the request. See Apple’s refund instructions.
- Google Play: Use Google Play’s refund request process and select the Studey order. Google’s process and eligibility can depend on the purchase and your location.
Use the Apple or Google account that made the purchase. The store’s receipt or purchase history can help you find the order and check the request status.
When a store asks you to contact Studey
App-store rules may direct you to contact the app developer for certain purchase or access problems. If you paid but a Studey feature was not made available, or a store directs you to us, email privacy@studey.app with the store name, the email on your Studey account, and the order or transaction identifier. Do not send your password or full payment-card details.
We can help investigate account access or delivery problems. Refund requests remain subject to the store’s process and any rights or obligations that apply under mandatory local law. Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Cancelling a subscription
A refund request is separate from cancelling a subscription. To stop future renewals, cancel the subscription in the Apple or Google account used to purchase it, following the store’s instructions. The store will show when cancellation takes effect and whether access continues through the paid period.
Uninstalling Studey or requesting account deletion does not cancel a subscription. Delete-account steps are on our Delete Account page. See the Terms of Use for subscription details.
Trials and renewals
If an app-store offer includes a free or discounted trial, review the duration, billing start date, renewal price, and cancellation deadline shown by the store before confirming. A trial may convert to a paid subscription unless it is cancelled before the deadline shown in the store. Requesting a refund does not by itself stop a future renewal.
